About LR44 batteries

LR44 batteries are non-rechargeable, powerful, and long-lasting button cell batteries frequently discharged with how often they are used. It is an alkaline single-cell battery with about 1.5 volts as the nominal voltage, the shelf life of between 2-5 years, and a capacity of around 110mAh. Even though these batteries have a shorter lifespan or their usefulness decline with frequent use, they are still reliable. The most advantageous features of this battery is that; they are more affordable, highly compatible with most devices, works efficiently in varying weather conditions, and are readily available in many stores.

These batteries are having a diameter of 11.6mm, a weight of about 2.5 grams, and a height of 5.4mm. The LR44 battery is a long-lasting alkaline button cell battery. It is compact in shape and economical in value. Due to its demand for personal use, it is readily available in stores. The batteries are grouped into high-end premium and standard batteries. Because of some of their desirable features, price included, the batteries are known for their durability, high capacity, high energy density and reliability.

The LR44 battery is commonly used in different small and portable devices, namely: calculators, thermometers, gun sight, electronic keys, electronic toys, computer motherboards, dog collars, and medical equipment, laser pointers, small radios, cameras, hand watches, toys and portable electronics.

About solar panel

A calculator needs very small amount of dc supply, around 2 volt. This amount off supply can be supplied using very small solar panels. Solar panel converts the solar energy into dc current. The solar cells on your calculator trap solar energy and convert it to electrical energy to power your calculator's liquid crystal display. The material in these solar cells is crystalline silicon. Silicon is a fairly common element on Earth -- beach sand, for instance, is made from silicon compounds. Amorphous silicon has been used as a photovoltaic solar cell material for devices which require very little power, such as pocket calculators, because their lower performance compared to conventional crystalline silicon solar cells is more than offset by their lower cost and simplified deposition onto a substrate.

Being an Electrical Engineering student, I must say 'Wow' to this calculator. It's a time savior gadget and one of best calculators available in the market. I purchased this model of the calculator when I was in second year of my B.Tech. course. I opted to purchase it especially when I felt that it's time consuming to calculate Circuit Theory and Analysis problems using Casio fx-82 MS. Necessity makes the right decision. And I purchased it from a local book shop at the cost of around Rs.800 in 2018. Since then it's performing awesome. Since it is a non-programmable calculator, it can be used in any university exams in India. And you can use it in UPSC exam also.
Pros:
1) You can able to calculate
i) complex algebra
ii) integral calculus
iii) matrix and determinants
2) Super fast calculation
3) Long lasting battery life
5) Solar panel for charging in sunlight
Cons:
Nothing as such. I'm too much happy with this calculator.

Overall rating: 9.9/10
